Current opportunities
The Project Manager, working with the construction team, has the overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects.
This includes accountability for front end planning, ongoing programming, and final handover, as well as consistent cost management, safety integration, and client engagement.
The Assistant Project Manager, working with the delivery team, plays a critical role in the successful delivery of construction projects.
This includes actively contributing to all phases of the project, through tender, plan, construct and close.
The Estimator has the overall responsibility for the estimation of tenders and ensuring estimating accuracy throughout the tender process.
Working closely with the Bid team to ensure the delivery of on time, and best in class tender responses, the Estimator is also key in contributing to the overall bid/bid no program with their expertise and industry knowledge.
Expression of interest
Baseline is acutely aware of the need to improve the working conditions of the construction industry to ensure women have an equal place in our workforce. We have listened to our team and implemented a strong flexible working policy, as well as an industry leading parental leave policy. This coupled with our strong belief in equal pay for equal roles, has allowed us to reach a gender pay gap of 8.7%. While this is an improvement on the construction industry standard of 24.5%, we still have a long way to go, and will continue to actively work towards equality for women at Baseline.
We support flexible work arrangements to ensure you can work where you need to, to be your most productive.
Our main office is always available, along with the site office, satellite office, or home office.
We know that life happens outside of work. To support you, all permanent employees have the ability to utilise 2 wellbeing days each quarter, on top of their annual and personal leave, to take the time out to rebalance and have a break.
Baseline staff and their families are supported by Sonder, a 24/7 digital care platform for all things mental health, physical health and safety related.
Baseline offers an industry leading 24 weeks primary carers leave and 4 weeks secondary carers leave, to ensure new parents have the time and space to enjoy this special time in their lives.
Baseline has a strong culture of running events that bring the whole team together - from our season winning netball team, to whole company celebrations, charity golf days and team lunches, there is always something happening and always a reason to enjoy coming to work.
